Industries Minister S Keerthana and former Finance Minister Thangam Thennarasu crossed swords on Thursday over surprise inspections in hundreds of firecracker units in Sivakasi, with the latter charging that such undue interventions amid the sector's crucial Diwali production, with the incumbent claimed that protests are politically orchestrated against the government and assuring that the issue has been resolved.
