Market Unrest In MP’s Susner, Bhikangaon As Cotton Farmers Protest Falling Bids, Milk Sellers Seek ₹100/Litre

Price unrest gripped parts of Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday as cotton farmers protested at Bhikangaon mandi after bids dropped from the season-opening ₹9,011 to as low as ₹6,000 per quintal. In Susner, milk sellers launched an indefinite strike demanding the purchase price be raised from ₹60 to ₹100 per litre.
