Environmentalists express concern over ‘inadequate’ scientific study of Aravallis, urge for extension of SC-appointed panel

According to a statement, “the SC appointed Committee in the Suo Motu Writ Petition (Civil) No. 10 of 2025 visited 9 districts in Delhi, Haryana and Rajasthan from 6 to 11 August 2026 and conducted public hearings in 4 cities.”
