Encounter between crime branch and criminal on Mayur Vihar-Akshardham road, accused arrested

An encounter took place between the crime branch and the wanted criminal on Mayur Vihar-Akshardham road late on Monday night. After firing several rounds from both sides, the police arrested the accused, a resident of Meerut. The accused was wanted in cases of murder and firing. There is no report of any policeman or civilian being injured in the encounter.
