Zee Entertainment looks beyond TV, bets on sports, animation and VFX for growth

Zee Entertainment is investing in sports and animation to build new growth engines. The company is diversifying its portfolio to capture a larger share of the evolving media landscape. ZEEL has partnered with PhantomFX to strengthen its animation and VFX content creation capabilities. The broadcaster has also launched four sports channels and secured rights to international events. ZEEL's digital platform ZEE5 became profitable in FY26, aided by a language-focused strategy.
