Yantra Packs raises Rs 12 Cr in seed round led by Caret Capital
Yantra Packs, a technology-driven asset-pooling and reusable packaging platform, has raised Rs 12 crore in a seed funding round led by Caret Capital. The Gurugram-based startup had earlier raised Rs 6 crore in a pre-seed round from Impact Infracap in December 2024. The fresh funds will be used to expand across India, strengthen its technology capabilities and scale its reusable packaging asset pool, Yantra Packs said in a press release. Founded in 2020 by Vipin Battu and Karan Saharan, Yantra Packs provides reusable packaging assets such as pallets, crates, containers and other returnable transport items through asset rental and pooling models. Its technology platform, Trakkia, enables asset tracking and supply-chain visibility, helping enterprises improve asset utilisation, manage asset lifecycles and reduce packaging-related costs and losses. Yantra Packs claims to serve over 30 enterprise customers, with more than 250,000 containers in active circulation across eight warehouses and over 100 customer touchpoints spanning manufacturing clusters. It competes directly with the other companies in this space such as Leap India, Holisol logistic, Econovus, and Good pack. The reusable packaging sector has also seen fresh investor interest. Econovus Packaging raised Rs 40 crore in a pre-Series A round led by Rainmatter, with participation from Rockstud Capital. InfinityBox also raised Rs 14.1 crore in a pre-Series A round led by Rainmatter.
