West Bengal’s ₹1.47 lakh crore infrastructure pipeline puts industrialisation opportunity in focus

West Bengal has a infrastructure pipeline under implementation carrying a latest revised cost of around ₹1.47 lakh crore as of April 2026, according to a report by the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Research Bureau. The projects span railways, roads and highways, power, ports and inland waterways, coal, oil and gas, steel, telecommunications, aviation and other infrastructure sectors.
