Waiting for preferential tariff for our exports: Piyush Goyal on India-US FTA

India and the United States have closed negotiations on the first tranche of their bilateral trade agreement but the deal is awaiting a framework from Washington that would provide India with a preferential tariff for its exports to the US Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal said on Friday Speaking to the media on the sidelines of the IndiaBelgium High-Level Dialogue on the IndiaEU Free Trade Agreement in Mumbai Goyal said the first tranche of the India-US bilateral trade agreement would reflect an initial set of proposals agreed between the two countries
