UP Board Pushes APAAR IDs For Classes 9-12, Aims To Digitise Student Records
The UP Board is stepping up efforts to create APAAR IDs for students of Classes 9–12 and link them to academic records. The 12-digit digital ID enables secure storage of marksheets, transfer certificates and other documents through DigiLocker. However, the board clarified that APAAR IDs are not mandatory for ongoing registrations or examinations.
