Tripura CM Manik Saha Discusses Potential Alliance with Tipra Motha Party

Tripura's Chief Minister Manik Saha has confirmed that discussions with the Tipra Motha Party (TMP) regarding a potential alliance for the upcoming village committee elections are still ongoing. He expressed optimism about finalizing an agreement, emphasizing the BJP's commitment to its allies. The TMP is set to hold a crucial meeting to determine its strategy for the elections, with around 300 party leaders expected to participate. The elections for 587 village committees in the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council are scheduled for early September, following TMP's significant success in the last elections.
