Together, We Hunted Down Bin Laden: US Tells UNSC On 25th Anniversary Of 9/11 Attacks

The US told the UN Security Council that countries “hunted down bin Laden” as the body marked 25 years since the September 11 attacks. Ambassador Mike Waltz highlighted global counter-terror efforts against Al-Qaeda and ISIS leaders. The UNSC also adopted its first presidential statement on counter-terrorism in five years, reaffirming condemnation of the 2001 attacks.
