Police investigating the disappearance of jewellery worth nearly Rs 4 lakh from a government hospital in Madhya Pradesh were surprised to discover that the suspected 'thief' was a stray dog. CCTV footage showed the animal carrying away a patient attendant’s bag, apparently attracted by food inside. Police tracked its movement and recovered the bag.
