A 25-year-old man, Majid, suffered burns to both hands and his lower body after his Samsung smartphone reportedly overheated, smoked and exploded in his trouser pocket while travelling from Ghaziabad to Dankaur. He had bought the phone about a month earlier and has complained to Samsung, while the exact cause remains under investigation.
