According to the source, the auditors were intercepted while returning after completing an audit at the Mayurbhanj DWO office. The seized cash included ₹5.51 lakh from their vehicle and ₹8.86 lakh from a hotel room. The two auditors were allegedly taking bribes from in-charges of Ashram Schools and SSD hostels. An allegation of collecting ₹10 per student as bribe has also surfaced. These are allegations, and the Vigilance investigation is continuing.
