Rajasthan To Hold First Simultaneous Urban Body Polls In September

Rajasthan will hold elections for all 309 urban local bodies on September 9 and 11 under its “one state, one election” policy. Polling will cover 10,245 councillor posts across 10 municipal corporations, 51 municipal councils and 248 municipalities. Over 1.44 crore voters will participate, making the polls a major political test for CM Bhajan Lal Sharma and the BJP.
