Raj govt defers panchayat poll lottery draws by one month; petitioner ex-MLA initiates contempt case

The Rajasthan government has deferred by a month the draws of the lottery for reservation of the wards of gram panchayats for allotment of quota to SCs, STs, OBCs and women in the elections of the rural local bodies.
