Putin’s Men BOMBARD ‘NATO Doorstep’, Kyiv’s Passenger Train DESTROYED Just 2 KM From Poland
Russian drone reportedly struck the locomotive of a passenger train travelling from Kyiv to Warsaw near Kostrytsia in Ukraine’s western Volyn region, approximately two kilometres from the Polish border. Ukrainian Railways said an aerial-monitoring group detected the approaching threat and warned the train crew. No passengers or railway personnel were injured, although the locomotive sustained damage. A separate drone attack damaged a petrol station near the Yahodyn–Dorohusk border crossing, setting buildings and parked lorries on fire. The crossing was temporarily closed before operations resumed. There is no indication that either drone entered Polish airspace or that NATO territory was struck. However, the proximity of the attacks is likely to intensify European concern over Russia’s expanding campaign against Ukrainian railway and border infrastructure.
