Prime Minister Narendra Modi held his first interaction with the BJP’s newly formed national team under party president Nitin Nabin at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi.The meeting comes just days after the BJP announced its new 65-member national team, featuring 51 new faces. The party is using the organisational revamp to strengthen its grassroots network and prepare for the upcoming 2027 Assembly elections and the 2029 Lok Sabha battle.The BJP’s first meeting under Nitin Nabin focused on poll preparations, grassroots mobilisation and communicating government initiatives to the public. Further meetings with state presidents, state in-charges and chief ministers of BJP-ruled states are also scheduled.The new organisational team includes prominent leaders such as Vasundhara Raje Scindia, Ram Madhav and Smriti Irani, while Piyush Goyal has returned as national treasurer.
