MV Ocean Winner Search: Empty Lifeboat Found, No Survivors As Coast Guard Intensifies Hunt For 22 Missing Crew

The search for 22 missing crew members of MV Ocean Winner intensified after ICGS Varad recovered an emergency beacon linked to the sunken vessel and located its lifeboat in the Bay of Bengal on August 25. A boarding team found no survivors. Coast Guard, Navy aircraft, additional vessels and merchant ships are continuing coordinated search operations with MRCC Beijing.
