Mumbai: Khilafat House To Make Way For 120-Bed Hospital, Grave’s Fate Sparks Concern

A 120-bed multi-speciality hospital is planned at Khilafat House in Byculla, but concerns have emerged over a grave inside the compound believed by some to be that of Begum Maulana Mohamed Ali Johar. The AIKC denies plans to remove it and is seeking religious guidance on whether it should be shifted or reburied deeper.
