Mumbai hit-and-run: Man asleep under tree killed after truck crushes him

A 23-year-old man died after being crushed by a truck in Dahisar East. The victim, Manjit Yadav, was asleep under a tree when the incident occurred late Thursday. The truck driver, Dhruvchand Chaudhary, fled the scene after the fatal collision. Yadav was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after. Police registered a case against the driver for rash driving and negligence.
