During an operation in the forests of Bhandarpadar and Munurkonda under Bhejji police station limits, district police, DRG and Bastar Fighters recovered 23 firearms and 492 rounds of ammunition. The seized material also includes 240 gelatin sticks, five hand grenades, BGL shells and 18 kg of gunpowder, besides Maoist-use clothing, bags, belts and solar panels. The recovery was made during a search operation targeting materials allegedly hidden by Maoists.
