Malad Mandal Unveils 9.5-Foot Eco-Friendly Ganesha Idol Made From Sea Shells, Paper And Cardboard For Ganeshotsav
Shree Sai Darshan Mitra Mandal in Malad West unveiled a 9.5-foot Ganesha idol made from sea shells, paper and cardboard for Ganeshotsav. The 100-kg idol took 45 days to complete and was handcrafted by volunteers. Member Montu Ruia said the shells were sourced from Gujarat and the idol is designed for eco-friendly immersion at Marve Creek.
