Iran's Final Warning? IRGC Navy Dares US Over Strait Of Hormuz; 'No American Target Will Be Spared'
A senior IRGC Navy commander has issued a stark warning that Iran is prepared to confront any U.S. attempt to forcibly reopen the Strait of Hormuz or seize Iranian-controlled islands in the Persian Gulf. Speaking to Lebanon's Al-Akhbar, the commander claimed that any American ground assault would trigger a "historic" response and that no U.S. target in the region would be spared. The unnamed commander also claimed Iran has spent 31 years preparing to defend its Gulf islands, has successfully enforced the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, and remains capable of striking U.S. forces despite American attacks. He further said the strategic waterway would reopen only when Iran's leadership decides.
