Iran launched a retaliatory strike on the US-run Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan, damaging several American warplanes, including an A-10 Thunderbolt that reportedly lost a wing. Around eight F-15 jets suffered light damage but returned to service. Jordan said 18 of 20 Iranian ballistic missiles were intercepted.
