The development came after growing pressure from CJP supporters demanding action in the case. controversy escalated after a viral podcast clip in which Bhardwaj appeared to claim that he had “cracked the skull” of Nishu’s father. Bhardwaj later said the incident was an act of self-defence. Delhi Police, meanwhile, said the victim suffered a simple head injury and disputed claims of a skull fracture.
