ED's big crackdown on drug earnings, simultaneous raids in four states of South India; Money trail being investigated from Hawala to property

ED has conducted simultaneous raids under PMLA in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Telangana and Kerala of South India against drug smuggling. The focus of the investigating agency is to trace the alleged drug proceeds to the hawala network, bank accounts, UPI transactions, cash, gold, vehicles and properties. In many cases, suspicious transactions and properties worth crores of rupees are being investigated.
