Clash over entry of rebel TMC MPs in BJP, Basunia's claim increases stir in Bengal politics

Speculations about rebel TMC MPs joining BJP in West Bengal have increased the political stir. Cooch Behar MP Jagdish Barma Basunia claimed that 17 out of 20 MPs can join BJP after the legal hurdles are over. Whereas Abu Tahir Khan has denied any collective agreement, calling it Basunia's personal opinion. The matter of membership of rebel MPs has reached the Speaker and the Supreme Court.
