Chandigarh IED Plot Busted: 3 Babbar Khalsa-Linked Accused Sent To 5-Day Remand After 5 Kg Explosives Seized

A Chandigarh court on Monday sent three alleged Babbar Khalsa International (BKI)-linked operatives to five days of police remand after they were arrested with around 5 kg of gelatin explosives, a detonator, remote-triggering system, pistol and ammunition. Police allege the trio, acting on a foreign-based handler’s directions, planned to plant an IED in Chandigarh.
