BJP has passed a big resolution regarding the honor and historical legacy of Vande Mataram. The party pledged to launch a nationwide awareness campaign to protect the dignity of the national anthem, protesting the Congress' August 19 decision. BJP said that Vande Mataram is a symbol of freedom struggle and national consciousness and no compromise will be accepted in its respect.
