BJD calls MMDR Amendment Act a ‘Black Day’ for Odisha

The Opposition BJD on Tuesday stepped up its attack on the BJP-led government over the MMDR Amendment Act, calling the passage of the legislation a “Black Day” for Odisha and alleging that it would severely undermine the state’s financial interests by depriving it of substantial mineral revenue.
