A Jammu court has ordered the J&K Police to conduct a preliminary inquiry into allegations of discrepancies in BCCI president Mithun Manhas’ date of birth records. The complaint, filed by former J&K Police officer and JKCA official Sudershan Mehta, alleges Manhas used different birth dates for junior cricket eligibility. Police have been asked to submit their report to the court by September 3, 2026. The inquiry is not a finding of guilt against Manhas.
