Mexico will accept reduced Colorado River water allocations under a new binational agreement. This accord, known as Minute 334, aims to manage dwindling water resources effectively. The agreement allows Mexico to store some water in Lake Mead for future use. Environmental restoration efforts in the Colorado River Delta will also continue with joint funding.
