13-Year-Old Boy Drowns in Madumati Nallah While Trying to Retrieve Ball

Bandipora, Sept 10 : A 13-year-old boy drowned in Nallah Madumati in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Thursday while attempting to retrieve a ball, officials said. According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), deceased has been identified as Momin Ahmad Ganaie, a resident of Ganaie Mohalla, Kaloosa. Officials said the boy slipped into the stream near Kaloosa Bridge while trying to recover the ball and was swept away by the strong current.
