Varanasi, Amritsar among 11 airports set for 50-year private operation

The government has moved ahead with plans to offer 11 Airports Authority of India airports to private operators in five bundles. The proposal includes 50-year concessions, an estimated Rs 8,622 crore investment and limits on how many bundles one bidder can secure.
