Tamil Nadu CM Vijay to open Mettur dam gates on September 1 for Cauvery Delta irrigation

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay will on September 1 oversee the opening of the sluices of the Stanley Reservoir in Mettur for irrigation in the Cauvery Delta region, with the water level at the dam set to reach 90 feet.
