Supreme Court terms BCI chief’s post ‘pro tem’, insists AG and SG join policy decisions

The Supreme Court on Wednesday described Bar Council of India (BCI) Chairperson Manan Kumar Mishra’s position as only “pro tem” until a newly constituted body elects its office-bearers and directed that every policy decision of the council must involve the Attorney General and the Solicitor General.
