Supreme Court Asks Centre, CBSE To Extend Three-Language Policy Exemption To Class 6 Students
The Supreme Court has asked the Centre and CBSE to consider extending to current Class 6 students the same exemption from the three-language framework granted to Class 7. The Centre opposed the exemption, maintaining that nearly 99% of CBSE schools have implemented the policy, while the court suggested deferring Class 6 implementation until 2027.
