Scuffle between student, non-teaching staffer over transfer certificate at West Bengal school

A dispute over a transfer certificate at Jagdala High School escalated into an alleged assault on a staff member. The staff member claimed students instigated the attack after she refused to alter official records. She was hospitalized and filed a police complaint, alleging financial irregularities and harassment. Supporters of the staff member then allegedly retaliated against the acting headmaster and another teacher.
