School HM, on his way to attend Ganesh Puja, seriously injured in tragic road mishap in Odisha
A government school headmaster in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district was seriously injured after the car he was driving collided head-on with a truck on Monday morning. The incident occurred while he was reportedly on his way to school for Ganesh Puja celebrations. Ranjan Nanda, headmaster of Tiring Government High School, was travelling from Rairangpur to Tiring in his car when the accident took place near Kaduani village under Bahalda police limits in the district Car Badly Damaged In Collision According to reports, the accident occurred on National Highway 220 after Nanda’s car collided head-on with a truck coming from the opposite direction. The impact was severe, leaving the front portion of the car completely mangled. Following the collision, local residents rushed to the spot and rescued the injured headmaster. He was initially taken to the Rairangpur hospital for treatment. Shifted To Cuttack For Treatment As his condition was reportedly serious, Nanda was later referred to the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack for further treatment. Meanwhile, Bahalda police reached the spot and seized both the car and the truck involved in the accident. The truck driver reportedly fled the scene following the collision. Police have initiated further action in connection with the incident.
