PM Modi's Central Asia tour: A look at India's strategic priorities from Tashkent to Bishkek

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Uzbekistan and Kyrgyz Republic from August 29 to September 1. Bilateral talks will be held in Tashkent on trade, energy, defense and digital cooperation, while India will lay out its strategic priorities on regional security, connectivity and economic interests during the SCO summit in Bishkek. This visit is being considered to give new strength to India's active diplomacy in Central Asia.
