Philippines Ferry Inferno: 35 Dead, 54 Missing As Search Teams Find More Victims

Rescue teams are recovering more bodies from the burnt-out ferry in the Philippines, pushing the death toll to 35 as a grim search continues for 54 people still missing. A Philippine Coast Guard vessel arrived at Port of Borac in Coron carrying emergency personnel, including hazmat-suited crews, along with bags containing victims’ remains. AP video showed the grim recovery operation after the ferry caught fire Wednesday night about 7.4 kilometres from Turda village, near its destination of Coron in Palawan province.
