Notice To Student Over ‘Cockroach Janta Party’ Protest Withdrawn: Supreme Court

The Supreme Court was informed on Monday that the notice issued to Gautam Buddh University student Akshat Tripathi over a proposed “Cockroach Janta Party” protest was withdrawn. The bench recorded that no punitive action would follow after authorities withdrew the ₹5 lakh bond notice issued under BNSS provisions. Tripathi had challenged the preventive proceedings before the court.
