Navi Mumbai: 6 Counterfeit ₹500 Notes Detected In HDFC Bank Cash Deposit Machine, Police Probe Underway

An unidentified person allegedly deposited six counterfeit Rs 500 notes through an HDFC Bank cash deposit machine in CBD Belapur. The machine detected and retained the notes. CBD police registered a case and are examining CCTV footage and transaction records to identify the suspect and check for possible wider links.
