Mumbai: McDonald’s Colaba Outlet Faces FDA Action Over Pest Infestation, Hygiene Lapses; Food Business Licence Suspended
Maharashtra FDA suspended the food licence of a McDonald's outlet in Mumbai's Colaba after inspectors reportedly found cockroaches, rotting food waste and hygiene violations. Officials also flagged poor temperature control and cross-contamination risks. The FDA also alleged that most deficiencies persisted despite a 148-page report claiming they had been rectified.
