Ladakh’s high-altitude experiment to bring Tso Kar back to life

In a first-of-its-kind high-altitude ecological restoration effort, Ladakh is moving to breathe new life into the rapidly shrinking Tso Kar Lake by diverting a massive volume of untapped glacier water from the Rupsho Kharnak stream in Changthang.
