Keralam Govt to lease land to CSL for Rs 5,000 cr ship block building project, says CM Satheesan

The Kerala government will lease 18.16 acres of land to Cochin Shipyard. This land will support a ship block building project with an investment of Rs 5,000 crore. The project is expected to create approximately 2,000 direct jobs and many indirect employment opportunities. The government will receive an annual lease amount of Rs 1.45 crore, totaling Rs 1.70 crore with GST.
