Indian-Origin Store Owner Suresh Patel Shot Dead During Armed Robbery in Tennessee, Daughter Witnesses Killing

An Indian national identified as Suresh Patel was shot dead during an armed robbery at his liquor store, Ridgecrest Cellars Wine and Spirits, in Jackson, Tennessee, on the evening of Thursday, August 20. The 56-year-old, who hailed from Gujarat, had taken over ownership of the store just days before the shooting.
