India Repatriates 25 Pakistani Prisoners, Including 8 Fishermen; Call For Release Of 177 Indian Detainees

India repatriated 25 Pakistani prisoners, including eight fishermen, through the Attari-Wagah border on August 29. The move followed the death of an Indian fisherman in Pakistani custody. Peace activist Jatin Desai urged Pakistan to reciprocate by releasing 177 Indian fishermen who, he said, have completed their sentences and had their nationality confirmed.
