History-sheeter found murdered

A history-sheeter was found murdered in a farm near Koodankulam in the district on Friday. Police said ‘Thoothukudi Selvam’, 41, of Karumbattur near Thenthamraikulam in Kanniyakumari district, who was living in Thalamuthu Nagar on Thoothukudi outskirts, was facing 27 cases, including six murder cases. During an encounter with the police last year, he was shot at the leg.
